Our Wedding

Our story starts with a meaningful question in a respectable forum. Bagel bites versus pizza rolls - a question posed by Logan on Twitter. Logan was staunchly a pizza roll supporter, so after Allison suggested that pizza rolls are the inferior bite-size pizza snack (and Allison liking almost all Logan’s tweets), Logan like the true 18-year-old gentleman he was decided to continue the discourse in a more private setting -- Twitter DMs -- to save her the embarrassment of publicly losing this argument. On brand, the couple shortly thereafter had their first date at a local pizza place in Virginia Beach. Fast forward nearly two years later and we start officially dating while we were at Virginia Tech. It was quickly pretty clear we were going to be inseparable, staying at each other’s places all the time and spending our time together whenever we could, whether it was enjoying VT tailgates, attending date parties, or hitting our favorite bars in downtown Blacksburg. After graduating in 2020, Logan joined Allison in Nashville as she began her first year of law school and he began his first post-grad job remotely. In 2021, Logan moved up to NYC. Fast forward another two years, and after sticking out long distance for a bit, Allison finally moves up to NYC with the children (cats) in tow! So, looking back 10 years later, it is clear how lucky we are to have matured together through our late teens to now late 20s. And throughout it all our love has always come naturally and unconditionally. It’s never once felt hard, no matter the time, place or how much we annoy each other. However, Allison does take almost concerning levels of pleasure in beating Logan whenever she can (arguments over dumb topics, pool, bowling, thumb wars, poker, word games - just to name a few). We couldn't be more excited to start our next journey together, and we look forward to celebrating with all the people we've known and loved over the years. Cheers to being partners/competitors/procrastinators/Hokie lovers together for life!

Our Story

Central Park Engagement Session

Our first home together post-grad is in New York City, so we couldn't think of a better place to shoot our engagement session than Central Park. We have lived together in the city since August 2023.

Aruba Engagement and NYC Engagement Party

Logan proposed to Allison during vacation in Aruba in September 2024. Logan arranged for a private musician, dinner, and photographer on the beach outside of the resort to pop the question. Being two horrible planners with procrastination problems, the couple decided to opt for long engagement. In the meantime, the couple celebrated their engagement with close friends and parents in New York City in May 2025.

Thank you so much to traveling to the beautiful Hazy Mountain Vineyards to celebrate our special day! Hazy Mountain is located in Afton, Virginia, approximately 30 minutes from Charlottesville. We recommend making hotel reservations as soon as possible, so that we can add more rooms to the blocks if necessary. Planning to fly? The closest airport is the Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport, located approximately 40 minutes from our venue and 15-20 minutes from the hotels. There are always plenty of Ubers and Lyfts available in the Charlottesville area too.
